LIMINAL SYPHOMNY (2019)
Excerpt premier at WAX Works/Triskelion Arts (New York, NY). Liminality is the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage, when participants no longer hold their pre-ritual status but have not yet begun the transition to the status they will hold when the rite is complete. MOTHERBOARD seeks to challenge our own perceptions of memory and reality by using the concept of circuit bending (chance-based customization of low-voltage synthesizers) as an investigation on the variation of natural functions.
